Aug 2016: the Day coverage of Innovation Places


News of Spark's role co-leading the local effort to secure Innovation Places status in the state of CT for the mouth of the Thames River inclusive of New London & Groton generated two articles in the Day newspaper.

The first about the effort and the second reporting out about the public presentation that Hannah Gant and Susan Froshauer from CURE Innovation Commons led at a Special Meeting of the Southeastern CT Cultural Coalition's New London Roundtable on Wednesday August 31st.

February 2016: Spark hosts Experimental Sound Show


The Ammerman Center for Arts and Technology at Connecticut College has a symposium every other year. In 2016 the theme was Open All Ports. The multi-day gathering ended at Spark with an experimental sound show curated by Caroline Park.
