Got an idea for a new workstation space or a meetup group within Spark?

If a critical mass voices interest then a community-wide meeting will happen as a next step.
Help Spark grow into a learning community by helping to define the overall educational structure and philosophy. This can include developing the following: - delineation of various learning offerings: Spark sanctioned classes, member skill shares, etc. - general objectives of Spark classes (e.g. transmission of practical knowledge, inclusivity, hands-on, exploration, safety, fun, and much more) - concept of a Spark-sanctioned teacher including - - desired qualifications such as commitment to Spark’s philosophy and mission; passion, knowledge and experience as a practitioner in the Maker subject area being taught; experience or clearly demonstrated potential in developing innovative, creative, engaged learning in both formal and informal class and mentoring settings; and more - - process to become a Spark-sanctioned teacher
I'm not quite sure what to call this but I'd love to be part of a group of people jamming / talking shop with others who geek out on economics and are paying attention to trends showing up with names like: sharing economy, gift economy, peer-to-peer, social enterprise, regeneration, community land trust, etc.
I've got a friendship with Jenny Kassan, a well-known New Economy lawyer who specializes in community finance. (http://www.jennykassan.com/)
Partly I want to form this group to generate enthusiasm and support to hire Jenny to advise Spark in its legal formation as hybrid for-profit / non-profit entity. She's ready to work with us!

I want to make a workstation in the artspace for stained glass. I have everything needed for the work area and am more than willing to donate/share it: work tables, lighting, storage cabinet, tools, and glass. I can teach or help others to make glass projects, too. Want to make panels for your kitchen cabinets? Or a beautiful mandala for your meditation space? It would be a perfect addition to the artspace! Who's with me?!?
