New London is known for arts with many great works in our shared public spaces through the vibrant mural scene.
The ReInspire group is inspired to add another dimension to public art in the downtown through yarn bombing—putting knitted wares on street signs, posts, and fencing along Golden St. to start as another way to creatively beautify. The proposed plan is to change what is up quarterly with the season so that what goes up stays in good-looking condition.
Come to the Open (Up)cycle on Tuesday May 3rd between 4 - 7pm at 13 Golden St. to join in on the plan. Or comment on this post!
